Factoryville Fire Company Relief Association

A Pennsylvania Volunteer Firefighters’ Relief Association (VFRA) provides financial protection and support for volunteer firefighters and their families when injury, illness, or death occurs as a result of fire service duties.

Operating separately from the fire company, a VFRA is a nonprofit organization responsible for administering state-allocated relief funds for authorized firefighter health, safety, training, and operational needs. These funds may be used for insurance coverage, eligible medical expenses, firefighter training, and certain equipment and safety-related costs.

Through the responsible management of these funds, a VFRA helps protect the well-being of volunteer firefighters while supporting their safety, preparedness, and readiness to serve the community.
