Join the Factoryville Fire Company

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Factoryville Fire Company.

Since 1930, the Factoryville Fire Company has proudly served Factoryville Borough, Clinton Township, and surrounding communities. Our members respond to a wide variety of emergencies throughout Wyoming and Lackawanna counties, including structure fires, brush fires, motor vehicle crashes, rope rescue incidents, and other calls for assistance.

Being a member involves more than responding to emergencies. Members regularly participate in Sunday training sessions to develop and maintain their skills, prepare the fire hall for community and department events, inspect and maintain apparatus and equipment, and help keep our station ready for the next call.

There are many ways to become involved. The Factoryville Fire Company offers four types of membership:

Junior Member

Junior membership gives younger members of the community an opportunity to become involved in the fire service, learn about department operations, participate in approved training and activities, and begin developing the skills and experience needed for future service.

Regular Member

Regular members are active members of the fire company who participate in emergency response, training, station activities, apparatus and equipment maintenance, fundraising, and other department operations based on their training and qualifications.

Social Member

Social members support the fire company through department events, fundraising activities, community programs, and other non-emergency functions. This membership provides an opportunity to contribute to the organization without participating in emergency response operations.

Auxiliary Member

Auxiliary members provide important support to the fire company and its members through activities such as fundraising, community events, fire company functions, and other support services.

There Is a Place for Everyone

Every membership category plays an important role in the success of the Factoryville Fire Company. Whether you are interested in responding to emergencies, learning about the fire service, helping with fundraising and events, or supporting the department behind the scenes, there is an opportunity to become involved.

Joining the fire company is an opportunity to learn new skills, meet members of your community, and become part of an organization that has served the Factoryville area for generations.
