Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Factoryville Fire Company.

Since 1930, the Factoryville Fire Company has proudly served Factoryville Borough, Clinton Township, and the surrounding communities. Our members respond to a wide variety of emergency incidents throughout Wyoming and Lackawanna counties, including structure fires, brush and wildland fires, motor vehicle crashes, rescue incidents, rope rescues, and other calls for assistance.

Membership involves more than responding to emergencies. Our members regularly participate in Sunday training sessions designed to maintain and improve their knowledge, skills, and readiness. Members also assist with preparing the fire hall for events, maintaining apparatus and equipment, completing station projects, supporting fundraising activities, and helping ensure our facilities remain ready to serve the community.

The Factoryville Fire Company offers four types of membership:

• Junior Member:
  Designed for younger individuals interested in learning about the fire service, developing basic skills, participating in approved training activities, and preparing for future active membership.

• Regular Member:
  Members who actively participate in the operational functions of the fire company, including emergency response, training, equipment and station maintenance, fundraising, and other department activities in accordance with company requirements.

• Social Member:
  Members who support the organization through company events, fundraising activities, community functions, and other non-emergency activities.

• Auxiliary Member:
  Members who provide important support to the fire company through fundraising, events, member assistance, and other activities that help support the department and its mission.

Each type of membership plays an important role in the continued success of our organization. Whether responding to emergencies, supporting department operations, assisting with community events, or helping behind the scenes, every member contributes to our ability to serve the community.
